Is there a way for me to get an email when an event is entered or changed? I have the latest version of the events module

You can enable subscriptions which then shows a checkbox on the icon bar. This will allow you to receive notifications when an event is added. There is no way to receive an email when an event is changed. You could also enable the RSS feed, and configure it to use last updated date. An RSS feed can be subscribed to and read in Outlook or most browsers. This would let you know of any updates. Cheers Roger

Thanks Roger for the quick reply. I'm new to this so for now I have 2 questions.
Where do I enable subscriptions?
Where do I enter email addresses to be notified?
Thanks

In 5.0.3 there is a check box marked Allow Subscriptions in the module settings. When this is enabled and you then tick the box shown on the module icon bar it will send an email to the email address shown in your DNN user profile.

Cheers
Roger

I found that subsription check box and tried it several times ...logged in as different users ( trying a few different email addresses that I have) but the system doesn't seem to be sending the emails out.
Is there another setting somewhere that I might be missing?
