We've noticed some odd behavior in regards to moving modules around a DNN page when the DNN site is an all css design.

Here is what happens:

Add a new page to the DNN portal.

New page gets created with the default HTML module added to the contentPane.

Add a New HTML module to that same page within the same contentPane underneath the default module.  If we try to move the second module above the first (default) module, we cannot.  The option does not even show up in the modules action drop down menu.  If we add a third module, we then CAN move modules around...

Is this a bug with DNN or with our layouts?  The reason I think it has something to do with the layout is that it doesn't seem to happen with the Minimal Extropy skin.  Or is DNN not "counting" the module that is added to the page by default?

Has anyeone come across this type of behavior?

Thanks in advance

We figured out what was going on with the odd behaviour previously described...

Apparently, we had our primary content pane named with a lowercase C. (contentPane).

The skin would behave as expected except with the odd behavior when trying to move a module to a different position within the pane.

We changed the lowercase C to an uppercase C and this resolved our issue.

Be sure to name your contentPane as ContentPane and NOT contentPane.

Hope this saves someone some time/frustration.

I just tried this with a full CSS skin and didn't have this issue.  It does seem weird, there really isn't a logical reason why a module order would be dependent on the skin.

I have the same issue on a site where the name of the ContentPane is correct and I have not been able to find the cause.

I guess it's something in the skin, because if I switch to Minimal Extropy, the move link does appear, but I didn't find the cause yet.

I only have it on certain pages (DNN 5.3.1)
