When I try to add a link  to a page, I click the Insert/Edit Image button and it opens up a new window but when I click the Browse Server button , it opens up a new window saying

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

It also redirects to the Home page.

please try the following: go to File Manager in admin menu and perform a full recursive sync in top right corner.

That did not work but I restored the HtmlEditorProvider folder from backup and it started working. Thanks for your help.

Can you let me know how you solved this issue because I am having the same problem.  I tried the recursive and that didn't work for me either.
