The unblock need is a security measure that was implemented last year I think. Executable and zip files need to be unblocked. In Windows 2003 files of certain filetypes that are considered dangerous will not be unpacked, for example .js files, unless you unblock the zip. In Vista and Windows 7 everything is extracted but files still need to be unblocked.

There's no need to copy the files to a third location, just unblock and then unzip directly to your install. (After back up of course).

Wow!!!! That's incredible!!! I'v never see this! I have a Win 7 pc but I have updated times a lot of DNN installation on my PC and it's the first time that i ha see this!!!! For the Italian people: Premere il tasto destro sul file zip, in windows 7 troverete il tasto "Sblocca" infondo alla maschera Propietà thanks Rmartin
