It appears that this foreign key modification has been put in to cascade portal deletes to the PortalLocalization table and for referential integrity I had that error because PortalLocalization was still holding references to portals I already deleted which don't get deleted because this reference doesn't exist :-) so if you check your PortalLocalization table and delete out any portals in there that are being referenced that don't exist in your Portals table and than run IF NOT EXISTS (SELECT * FROM dbo.sysobjects WHERE id = object_id(N'FK_PortalLocalization_Portals') AND OBJECTPROPERTY(id, N'IsForeignKey') = 1) BEGIN /* add key and cascade delete rule */ ALTER TABLE dbo.PortalLocalization ADD CONSTRAINT FK_PortalLocalization_Portals FOREIGN KEY ( PortalID ) REFERENCES dbo.Portals ( PortalID ) ON DELETE CASCADE END again than you shouldn't have any problems and the referential integrity of stuff should be super

This will show you all portals to be removed from the PortalLocalization table

SELECT     PortalLocalization.PortalID, PortalLocalization.portalname
       from               PortalLocalization where
PortalLocalization.PortalID not in(select portalid from portals)

I remove all the rows from PortalLocalization that this Select returns, but after the upgrade only 4 of the 22 portals are available. The PortalLocalization table and the portals tables have rows.... but for some reason the portals disappear from the Host->Portals. Also I see that the table PortalLocalization has not a Primary Key. When I try to add one, with the SQL Server Management Studio and try to go to Host->Portal an error apears. I think that I must remove some others rows too... not only these from the Select... Any ideas?
