Can anyone tell me or forward me the contents of the the default web page for dnn.  It should be default.aspx.  I was hacked last night and they over wrote my default page and I need to store it.  To possibly complicate matters I was running an older version of DNN (sorry I don't rememember the version number).  I am not sure if that will make a difference.

I know I should have had a back up, and I did a one time but the website was running on autopilot for a long time.

I would recommend downloading whatever version of DNN you were running and looking for the file in one of those packages.

On the right side of this page you can find a VERSIONS listing and download the appropriate version number

http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releas...

Grab default.aspx from there.

Also, did they change your default.aspx file, or simply add a new default.htm file? That's a common hack when there are IIS security holes

They changed the default.aspx file.  Is there any way to determine what version you were running without starting it up?  I am thinking I was running 4.1.x or something like that.

Right click on the DotNetNuke.DLL file in the bin folder, choose properties and look for the Version info there, I think on the details page

Thank you very much.  That did the trick.
