proper mode depends, how source code is provided. Source packages for all core modules (except Store) are installed like install version. For third party modules, the vendor/developer may tell you, how to set up source code for development.

A Web Application produces a dll so you will need to open it in Visual Studio and update any references the module uses.   If you already have the module installed then unzip the source into the DesktopModules folder for the module and open the solution file that came with the module.  You should then be able to make sure any refs are correct and build the module.

I bought a module 13157_6450_AnomalySoft.NukeFlow+4.35PAandSRC before 6 months ,I have tried many times to use the source code version but without benefit. I try all this below: 1- First I install PA . 2- Unzip source file in Desktop module\ AnomalySoft.NukeFlow Folder 3- I try to open source alone by visual studio 2008 and change the default paths from c:\inetpub\devcore440\bin\ TO C:\DotNetNuke\bin (My Portal) - (I Used visual studio 2008 + Framework 3.5 +DotNetNuke 5.3) + My portal in C:\DotNetNuke\ - third party modules it difficult to install plz if you have version compatible with dotnetnuke and install directly like any PA module??? I hope and I will be grateful if you could help me resolve this problem. I am waiting for your suggestions Thanks
