We are developing custom dnn modules for our intranet applications using DotNetNuke Professional Edition V.5.2.2. From there, we are using RAD Controls like Grid, Combo, Panel, Treeview, Tabs for our module development. In this scenario, we required to implement the concept of DNN Skins and Themes should need to apply for RAD Controls while changing of Skins from dnn. At present, the dnn skins is making reflections on Portal Level only. Still the RAD Controls are not changing the Styles.

We will appreciate your feasible solution to inherit the dnn skin styles into RAD Controls for dynamic dnn skins.

We are looking forward your positive approach and feedback.

Thanks,

I would imagine (having not used the rad controls yet) that you can define classes on the controls, you likely need to tell those controls to use some of the standard DNN classes, or your own custom classes contained in your skin files.

Hmmm... That seems to be a relatively discouraging answer... Seems like tying the RTB into the skinning would be really beneficial...
I like using the CuteSoft editor (Seems the most flexible to me so far - www.cutesoft.net), but I've had troubles with it when in an SSL page for registration. So I pulled it out and started using the built in FCK editor, but that throws errors on EVERY page visit. Finally, I pulled that and started using the Telerik editor.
Works fine, but I wish we could tame the blue theme... I've gone into the Telerik Config files and changed from Vista theme to the Outlook theme, but both use a bright blue. According to Telerik, the themes are compiled into the DLL, and I can't find a list of possible themes to choose from when I Google it. I just happened upon a mention of an Outlook theme, and that's the only reason I knew I could change it to that...

Helpful direction with teh Telerik control would be greatly appreciated!

The thing is this.
Telerik has it's own themes/skins.
They have a style builder, which is fine for general styles, but more specific styles are not easy to do.
You can also overwrite the exisiting styles from your skin.
I use firebug to get to the right classes and overwrite them.
(I have one customer that uses Telerik a lot on custom ASP.NET apps).
IMO Telerik equals  less work on the server sides and more work on the client side (if styling is important).

Is it possible to apply dnn skins to all RAD Controls? However,

Is it possible to apply the above solution without changing the source code in dnn skins or portal related files (framework). In this case, the solutions will applicable for future upgrade of dnn version?

Kindly give your feedback on this.
