Hey Ian

Well spotted mate, sadly I'm in England and really need to stick with the UK language :o(  We're using pro so I'll post it as a bug and see what happens. If I find a fix that works with UK language I'll let you know here.

Cheers - Guy

Hello Guy

I am in the UK too. It's not a problem. Simply set the default language to UK and leave US enabled.
The language skin object (if present in your skin) will offer the option to switch languages if more than one language is enabled so you may want to remove it.

You can then use the Telerik editor which I think is worth it's weight in gold simply for wrapping authors content in divs and not P tags.

Hey Ian

Am I being a plank here :o)  When I look at Admin | Site Settings, the first item is "Select Language", it's a drop-down list containing two items,

English (United Kingdom) & English (United States)  UK is selected.

In Admin | Languages

English (United Kingdom) is the default for  Portal, Host & System
English (United States) is Enabled for  Portal, Host & System

Is there another place I need to set this ????

Cheers - Guy

Look in the Languages tab under the Admim menu.
 You need to see / set UK as the default with the check box for US ticked.
 It may be a good idea to restart too. Host Settings.

Hey Ian

My config is the same as yours, ie: UK selected and US enabled for everything but the problem seems to persist.

But

I've just had a reply from DNN about this, they say .....

<snip>
Concerning your report of broken dialogs and icons, this is known bug recently reported and verified.
The issue tracking number is DNN-12405.
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...

Due to it's recent discovery, the bug has yet to be road mapped.
The next step is for the core development team to road map the issue for a deliverable resolution.
You can monitor our progress at the above link.

</snip>

So, i've switched back to the old FCKeditor for now, until the problems with the DNN teleric instalation are fixed.

Cheers - Guy
