We just upgraded from 4.x to 5.2 and the module name changed from Text/HTML to just HTML.  I am trying to change it back to Text/HTML in the drop down list (my users aren't the best with change).  If I go to edit the module definition, it says the friendly name is Text/HTML and the folder name is HTML.  Can I change what shows in the drop down list?

I have exactly the same question and hope we get an answer!

In SQL Server, open the “DesktopModules” table. Modify the value in the “Friendly Name” field. This can be done after other Portals are already created. You can also modify the module definitions.

Do not do this in the “Host” area in the browser. Do not modify the friendly name in the “ModuleDefinitions” table.

Note: Restart the server after making these changes so the changes are seen in all Portals.

That worked perfectly!  Thank you!

This still seems to be an issue in 5.4.4. The field "friendly name" seems to be removed from host>module definitions + edit module definition. There is a new field "friendly name" where the definition list is, but this doesn't seem to be what we need. It does still work if you change the name in the table desktopModules though.

thank you,
Dieter
