I have been looking everywhere for a way to change the registration page skin. We need the login page and registration page to have different skins but the registration page inherits the login page skin. Is there any way (without creating a new registration page with a registration module that will cost $) that I can give the registration page a diffierent skin than the login? Seems like this should be a SIMPLE fix. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Terrence,

You can define the login and register pages within the Advanced Settings under the admin, site settings page. What you'll need to do is create a new registration page and place the User Account module on there, this will show a registration page when the user is not logged in, and their account when they are logged in. Apply whichever skin you want to it, and set it as the registration page.

Regards,

Rick.

Hey Rick,

Thanks for your help. I was needing different skins because I needed to have a green screen video on the registration page but not the login page. I ended up hiding the video on the login page by adding an html module and hiding the video div class with javascript within that module. In regards to your suggestion, if I make a new registration page and add the user account module won't that just give me the login and password boxes instead of all the info. needed for registration. Or when I set that new page as the registration page in settings does that do all that for me? Thanks again for your help.

Terrence,

There are 2 modules you'd use, one for the login page (Account Login Module) and one for the registration page (Users and Roles, although this adds three modules the only one you need is the user account. This will then create a registration form if you're logged out.)

Rick.
