Hi, I just upgraded my Events module to the 5.00.03 and saw the following error:

StartJob Start Sql execution: 04.01.00.SqlDataProvider file
Failure SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: The ALTER TABLE statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_EventsRecurMaster_Modules". The conflict occurred in database "SpalshDownWaterpark", table "dbo.Modules", column 'ModuleID'. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlInternalConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection) at System.Data.SqlClient.TdsParser.ThrowExceptionAndWarning(TdsParserStateObject stateObj) at System.Data.SqlClient.TdsParser.Run(RunBehavior runBehavior, SqlCommand cmdHandler, SqlDataReader dataStream, BulkCopySimpleResultSet bulkCopyHandler, TdsParserStateObject stateObj) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.RunExecuteNonQueryTds(String methodName, Boolean async) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.InternalExecuteNonQuery(DbAsyncResult result, String methodName, Boolean sendToPipe) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.ExecuteADOScript(String SQL) at DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider.ExecuteScript(String Script, Boolean UseTransactions) IF NOT exists (SELECT * FROM dbo.sysobjects WHERE id = object_id(N'[FK_EventsRecurMaster_Modules]') AND OBJECTPROPERTY(id, N'IsConstraint') = 1) ALTER TABLE dbo.[EventsRecurMaster] ADD CONSTRAINT [FK_EventsRecurMaster_Modules] FOREIGN KEY ( [ModuleID] ) REFERENCES dbo.[Modules] ( [ModuleID] ) ON DELETE CASCADE

Any ideas?

Please let me know!!

It appears to be working, but I am scared because of the error that I saw noted above when I upgraded. If you have some insight, please share. Thanks,

Hi Mark,

I think the module will work, the only problem you will get is when you come to delete a module from your portal, the events for the module will not automatically get deleted from the database.

Could you mail me offline - webmaster @ the domain in my profile, and we'll see if we can get the constraint added properly and identify why it didn't get added in the first place. The implication is that you have events in the database which 'belong' to a module that no longer exists.

Cheers
Roger
