I've develop a website on local machine.

I need to shift that website on production for that i shifted the website database,
and try to run the website from my local machine using reomte database,
I just change the connection string on the website nothing else and database i moved to remote it was just a simple export of my local database.

When i run the website from my local it needs another installation of dnn, means after running the websiteit takes me to the dnn installation page.
why?
I am really afraid to do all the setting on remote again, because my website contain almost 500 modules and 450 pages.

will i face the same issue when i move website to remote domain also.
I really don't know what to do, please helo me, I don't want to install again the dnn.

any kind of help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

It's trying to do another install of DNN because it can not access the DB it is pointed to.  Double check your connection string in the web.config file, and check that it is changed in all locations (not just the one at the top).  Also, confirm that your local machine has access to the DB you reference in your connection string and there is not a firewall issue.
