Hi!
I had the same issue while trying to upgrade from 04.09.05 to 5.06.

I have then opened my solution with Visual Studio 2008, which asked me to upgrade the solution to framework 3.5. I did the upgrade, then I tried to reload the page. It worked.

Bye

Maarten:

Starting with version 5.2 DNN requires ASP.Net 3.5.  See the install docs here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W....

By the way, since you can run DNN, using the Install Package, without having to compile or use any development tools, the way to change the version of .Net the site uses is by changing it in the IIS Management tool, in the ASP.Net tab of course.
