I used the install package to upgrade my site from 4.9.0 to 5.4.1.  The upgrade to 5.3.0 errored updating configurations but the process continued.  My site seem to work but I have no editor to edit pages.  It states the below error.  There is no Telerik forlder under HtmlEditorProviders.  Can anyone help.  Thanks.

Could not load RadEditor. Invalid tools file. Check provider settings in the web.config: ~/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Telerik/Config/ToolsDefault.xml

I have the same problem. I do not find the path 'Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Telerik' in either the 5.4.2 install or upgrade. Where is it?

Within the 5.4.2 install / upgrade package there should be another install package for Telerik located at \Install\Module\Telerik_05.04.00_Install.zip In order for me to get this working properly for an upgrade, I had to extract the Telerik.Web.UI.dll from the zip and put it in the bin directory before running the upgrade. I think this is because it was already setup as the provider by default in the web.config. You could probably get away with changing the default provider = Telerik before the upgrade and then change it back after it was successful, but I did not try this out. Hope that helps a little.

here is how i solved this issue: 1. In the upgrade zip file, there is an install package for Telerik (\DotNetNuke_Community_05.04.03_Upgrade\Install\Module). 2. Extract it from the DNN upgrade package. 3. Log into site as host. 4. Go to Host > Module Definitions 5. Click "Install New Module" 6. Browse for the extracted Telerik file. 7. Follow the instructions hope this helps others
