Hi,

I already have tried upgrading from (4.9.2 --> 4.9.5 --> 5.4.1), (4.9.2 --> 5.4.1) and 4.9.2 -->  5.2.3 --> 5.4.1 but I seem to get similar errors. Here is the error when I tried upgrading 4.9.2  --> 5.4.1.  I found some forums that throws the same error on the upgrade process but the exception cited on my eventviewer seems to be different from what others have reported.

There are (I think?) workarounds already stated in these forums, if it was me I would just hold out for DNN 5.4.2.

Yeah.. I've tried the workarounds mentioned but I'm still getting the same error. I'll probably just stay in 5.2.3. Thanks!

I was having the same issues.  But I ignored them.  Then when I tried to add a new portal, I received a huge template error and while the portal instance was created, I couldn't access admin or host menus.

So, instead of using the upgrade package, I, like I've had to many times before, used the full install package instead of the upgrade.  I still got the Application error on 5.03..00 but the other 3 module errors were gone.  I was then able to add portals again.

I have always had better luck using the full install for my upgrades instead of the upgrade package.
