I acutally think the error comes from the Admin/host menu on top at all. As the drop-downbox that is used to select the module to install is empty
AND none of the radiobuttons (View, Edit, Design) is selected. Is that possible?

Michael,

Are You using a language other than English?
Try upgrading using the English language until version 5.4.1

So there is not an issue jumping from 4.9 to 5.4? I have 4 instances that need to make the jump, most of them multi portal. I have been putting it off for fear of complete crashes

Isnt the standard language pack (En-US) automatically updated when running a DNN-upgrade? If not, where to find the EN-US-language pack? I deleted all other language packs, but the error persits. Any other ideas?
