I just upgraded to DNN 5.4.2 and after upgrading I do not see the usual content under the ADMIN -> SITE SETTINGS page. I instead see the EXPORT TEMPLATE page (the one you normally see when you are exporting a template using an existing site). I cannot find the normal SITE SETTINGS as was in the previous versions. Has anyone come across this kind of issue? Is this a bug?

Never heard of this one. What was the exact version you upgraded from? Do you have any extra portals/languages. Did you have any errors when you upgraded. Any errors in Admin -> Event Viewer?

Alex, we came from 5.2.1 and the version we are upgraded to is 5.4.1 and not 5.4.2 (as stated in the Subject of this thread). On checking the Event Viewer, we do see a General Exception error (in red) with the following message:

Message: System.Exception: Unhandled Error: ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule.OnAuthenticateRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) at System.Web.HttpApplication.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
