Hi;
I'm running DNN 5.4.1 and Events 5.0.3. Ever since these upgrades, it seems that the web site crashes whenever an event notification is being sent. I have not fully analyzed it and am trying to set up a specific reproducible example, but that is time consuming because each time a crash occurs, we're down for a while. Have there been any reports of problems in this area? If so, it might save me some time.

Hi Hans,

There is a bug in DNN 5.4.1 which I have reported - http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V... - feel free to add your weight to it being corrected. I don't believe there is a fix in DNN 5.4.2 having looked at the code today. For my site I have modified the DNN core to remove the check for whether a mail is html or not. However, if you don't want to go that far then you could modify the 'New Event Notification - Body' template to add a <p></p> around the current contents of the template.

This problem will likely apply to any other templates with html (e.g. urls) in them which send emails.

Thanks. It should have been a showstopper. It certainly did for me. I'll see what i can do in the line of temp fixes.

Given it will be a month before it is fixed in DNN core, shout if you can't make the problem go away by adding the
