indeed they have 2 domains.

Is there something to about this?Is it relate to DNN at all?

It's not related to DNN as this all happens before actually going into DNN. I haven't got a definitive answer otherwise but I think it has to do with the codebase for the provider being .NET 1 in origin.

im having similar issues but i have the second line already unckecked and when i usethe link provided in this thread i can login via LDAP but how do i force that? its still presenting user log in when i browse to the site. Is there some setting im missing?

When you say you have the line unchecked do you mean uncommented? I just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing? Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and then visiting the site (just to make sure there isn't an old cookie causing a problem)?
