I host a site that plays videos from U-tube. I have noticed that menus, both those from the container and from the navigation system disappear under the flash application playing the video link. In my experiments with Silverlight modules, I have noticed the same behaviour.

This can be ennoying by times. On my test site, I have one page from which I can no longer delete any module because of the Silverlight module that covers all essential menu options. I can still delete the page, but it figures only on my test site anyway.

Is there anything I can do to change this behaviour?

Has this been noticed, documented or made into an issue? Is there a remedy?

you need to make sure to use a z.index for the menu, high enough that it lays in front of flash
