This always make me laugh!!... I'm one of those strange examples which started my web development as Java then C# and due to my adoption of DNN as my main framework I decided to move to VB.NET. The odd thing is I actually prefer it. Even though I'm now looked down at from the ivy tower of C#, from whence I came! The only real difference I find is the case sensitivity, vb isn't, C# (and Java) is? This drives me mad when I go back to C#. And athough I have no proof I somehow find devloping in VB is quicker, I suppose it simply comes down to personal preference!

The other thing Im love about C# is the Style Cop and the Resharper Style Cop addin that makes so easy to keep your code conforming to standards and the rules we set.

Heya, it really brought joy to my life that core is also available in C#. I'm solely C# developer as I never had any need (or desire) to stick nose to VB.NET for more than few edits. Even with possible issues i'm finally able to help solving them or at least help myself. However I found that C# version has different column names in SQL installation files and it has already started to produce errors (for example Ifinity URLMaster wont install). So how its possible that these have been changed, they aren't even language related? And where do i submit code or issues? Anyone installing C# version should use 05.03.00.SqlDataProvider from VB.NET installation.

This is EXACTLY the kind of feedback we're looking for!  Thank you!  As we had mentioned, at this point the C# version is really just for developer interest (recall that we do not endorse it for production usage).  I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but I would log the issue on the Codeplex project here: http://dnnc.codeplex.com/workitem/lis...

Thanks, Xeev!

Hi Xeev, thank you very much for your feedback. it's really that the column name has been changed in C# version, because like ScopeType.ScopeType is forbidden in C# but it's right in VB.net. the only one thing confused me is that "Anyone installing C# version should use 05.03.00.SqlDataProvider from VB.NET installation.", can you give us more detail about this situation?
