I downloaded the community edition a few days ago. After that I have gone thru a personal “iis hell” trying to configure iis 7 and DotNetNuke so at least the installation is running thru.

The installation succeeded but after the installation my default.aspx page always redirect itself with an error parameter like this http://localhost/DotNetNuke/Default.a...

This error always displays in my web browsers url field when I´m trying to start DotNetNuke. Are there anyone that knows what I am missing?

I'm answering myself, it’s working now. I can't say exactly what the problem was. But one thing I changed with my last re install was to change the connection string for my sql server express edition in web.config. I changed the string to an auto generated I had in a Visual Studio project.  Running the installation wizard I treated it as a standard sql server instead of an express. That among some other tweaking in my iis got it up and running.
