Hi,

I have a page with the left and right pane containing 3 modules in each and a regular html module in the content pane. I export the page to be used as a template; however, several modules already have the option "display on all pages" checked. So every time I use this template, the modules that are set to display on all pages will also appear on the new page using the template. How can i set it so that pages are based solely on the template and have a template based page ignore the "display on all pages" option.

Thanks.

I don't think this is possible.

I recommend creating any page templates prior to setting the Display On All Pages option, that way when you create a page with the template, after the displayonallpages is set the new page gets the "reference" copies of the modules that are setup to display on all pages.

That or don't use display on all pages and use the "add existing module" functionality to copy the module by reference onto the necessary pages.
