Ok, let me resume:
  1. You want to sort the category list (the left column) using WWStore?
  2. What about the product list (the right column)?
  3. Can you access the db to modify a stored procedure?

They are some French people close to you! :-) The "Baguette Bistro+Bar", Baguette is the name of the typical bread from Paris. While "Lido" is a famous French cabaret.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

 Thanks Gilles :)

1> Not necessary (as I beleive you can assign a numerical sort as part of creating a category).
2> Yes, thats my main issue at the moment. Just the ability to sort them alphabetically - or by entry date (newest first) etc.
3> I think so. It's hosted at PowerDNN - so I can use their web based SQL manager - or, if absolute need be, I can get my hands on enterprise manager (although Im about as far from an expert there as they come!).

Perfect, here it's 4:27AM and I have to sleep a little! ;-) I will install WWStore tomorow to look at the stored procedure. I have to found the stored procedure name and look at the changes to apply.

Hi Ky,

After digging in the code, I can tell you than products are sorted by Model Name ascending and this can't be changed in the stored procedure. Do you use this field?
