So I just discovered the file: ~\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Telerik\EditorOverride.css This CSS is the last css that's applied in the ifram head section. I added an entry to modify the body tag: body{ background-image:none; } and it works like a charm. I'm using DNN 5.5 btw.

Ok so my bad on that last post. Turns out it doesn't always come up last. The previous posted solution does not work reliably, but the one on this thread does: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/364908/scope/posts/threadpage/1/Default.aspx

Thanks, just installed new 5.6 and couldn't see text in editor, followed your solution, worked easily.  Thanks heaps
