I need some assistance. Everytime my event log starts to populate multiple pages, my forum module (and sometimes others) start to throw exceptions and I cannot post new threads.
when I clear my log I can start to post again.......
Is my DB not configured properly? What do I do to resolve this problem.

I am stumped and not getting straight answers from my provider.....
I need some brains.....

I assume, the performance of your database server has some issues, maybe due to missing RAM or an exaggerating transaction log.

I do not understand what you mean by "exaggerating transaction log".
There does not appear to be any physical problem with the server.

The transaction log is the .LOG file that is stored by the database when "transactions" reads, writes, updates, deletes, occur.

Often times the transaction log for a database can become rather large and cause disk space issues on the server.

Can you verify that your server has free disk space?

If not you can try backing up your database and transaction log, then run a shrink on the database to get SQL server to free up the space.

Also, can you provide more details with what errors are being generated?

I have a real problem. I really don't know what is causing it.
This time I cleared the log and I still have the same problem.
I need someone smarter than me to assist me.
This has been happening over and over again.
I must not have something configured properly.
