Reports Module 5.1.0

I insert a JavaScript block and a Flash '<object>' in an HTML Template Visualizer.

When the page is rendered, it's stripped of the '<object>'and '<script>' elements and their contents.

Must the HTML Template Visualizer strip those elements, or is there something I can do syntactically to force the code to persist?

If a problem can be solved, there's no use worrying about it.
If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.

To resolve this thread, here's a subsequent post.

I work with the DNN Form and List team, testing and documentation. I'm a DNN Admin user, not a developer. I can't look at the code and deduce what could be the cause of a problem, or engineer a coding solution on my own. I have to rely on a developer to do this.

Outside of this forum, I caught-up with Andrew Nurse who mentioned there was likely "stripping code" that was pulling-out the JavaScript and Object elements. He suggested that maybe the stripping code could be safely removed. But because I'm not a developer, its not happening.

But it's good to note here that, by design, the HTML Template Visualizer is stripping the code, and there is no non-coding way around it.

If a problem can be solved, there's no use worrying about it.
If it can't be solved, worrying will do no good.

I modified the DLL to remove that security feature. Use at your own risk, it's safe depending on your specific use case. Message me if you want the DLL.
