I installed DNN a couple weeks ago and I haven't been able to work on the website since because of other pending projects.  I finally have had time to look at DNN and creating a new site and when I go to my web server and go to http://localhost/dotnetnuke/default.aspx, it loads, but I get a javascript error (bottom left corner of internet explorer with yellow error icon saying Error on page.  When I open the error it says 'dnn' is undefined.  Home.aspx  Line: 429.
When I click on the login link, it does nothing.  The error screen gives teh same error, but is on default.aspx line: 52, Code: 0 Char: 1.  Did I do the installation wrong and do i have to do it all over again?  Or why would I be getting this error?

Your best path is to go here http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development... and use the Web Platform Installer to isntall DNN.  It handles all the settigns for you.

So you're telling me that I should re-install the whole thing all over again?

hi Amanda,
I assumed you didnt have any content in your site yet so the eaisest thing to do is to reinstall it using the tool that will make sure you do it correctly.  What has probably happened is that when you downloaded the install zip file you didnt Unblock it before unzipping.  If you dont Unblock, which is a Windows feature, the files are marked as coming from an untrusted source and thus the .js files won't work correctly.  So just reinstall from the Web Platform Installer and it will all work.

Okay, I can do that.  Do I have to do something special to uninstall?
