If the error persists after an upgrade, it seems to be more than a hickup. Did you check the database for issuing errors (e.g. max quota reached)?

I've upgraded to 5.4.3 to no effect.  I've cleared cache and cookies, used IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari to try to see the modules.  There is nothing in the event log other than host logins.  The database has unrestricted growth, and is only about 20MB anyways.  Really seem to be hitting a wall here.

I thought i had an error adding modules. I would select the module from the list, choose the location I want it to go and click Add module to page. Nothing happened... Turned out I didn't wait for the page to refresh AFTER I changed the drop down for location. So be 100% sure everything is finished posting back before you press the add button. Might even not change the location and see if it just gets added. Not sure what else to check since everything was working fine and then it just broke without you changing anything. Is it possible someone else changed something on the server, in the db, without you knowing?

I found a partial solution; I commented out PageBlaster in my web.config, and now the js works fine, and I can add modules.
Now I just need to figure out how to live harmoniously with PageBlaster, which I think is a good and necessary product.
