Hi! I've been trying to install a DNN5 version on a subfolder of a DNN4 already installed site. Basically, it is not working... Is there any special settings I am suppose to put somewhere?

Any help would be much appreciated! =)

I would REALLY not recommend doing this.

Really? But why not?

Mind you, they would be completly separate installs, each one has their own database...

If you use website for DNN4 and virtual folder under this website for DNN5, I think cascading web.config files would cause some problems. I believe .net will agregate them. It's not impossible to cascade web.config files but mixing element from DNN4 web.config and DNN5 web.config is probably hard.
That's why I recommand you to use separate websites.

So, intead of that, would it be possible to transfer the current DNN4 site to a subfolder - let's say wwwroot/dnn4/  (adding the new url before transfering - www.mydomain.com/dnn4) - and then create another subfolder (wwwroot/dnn5/) and have the DNN5 install done in there?

Please say yes! =)
