I'm new to DNN and just installed it successfully.  However, when I go to the site, I am intermittently reaching an under construction page with the message "This site is currently unavailable.  Please check back later."

Anyone have a solution for this?

Something must not have been installed/configured correctly. IIS is pointing to the site which is good, but you're not loading. maybe it's a config problem in web.config or a db connection problem? I've found it's helpful to connect from the machine running DNN so you get better error messages. Also, check your windows event viewer and dnn logs for any errors. That info will help us see what's wrong with the install. With no error messages from the logs we can't tell what's wrong.

Glad that did it. Not sure why you can't change you're home page as I can use my own home page as I imagine most people do.
