I have a bunch of files that I need to get into the File Manager for use through out the site. However it is taking forever to upload file after file... If I upload these files via FTP to the documents folder... they do not show up in the File manager... they only show if I manually upload from the backend of the site.

I was going to upload the files in a ZIP container and have the server unzip them, however it times out... it is a 300MB file.

How can I get all of these files into the site without uplaoding one at a time?

Thanks.

If you upload the files via FTP then you can go to the file manager on your site an hit the Synchronize Files icon.  That should do it.

Michael is your friend.  He made a drag and drop file manager for dnn

http://dnnsilverlight.adefwebserver.c...

Just drop it as a module under your normal admin file manager.  Happy dragging!
