Hello,

I am also looking for the same solutions. Currently My Application have many PDFs and I have added them in portal and Given Links. When User Clicks on them they are being viewed in the Browser ( If PDF viewer installed in the system) else asks for download.

Is there any way / functionality in DNN through which we can open PDF in the site its self?

Many Thanks,
Rakesh.

I'm pretty sure this is a browser settings, not a DNN setting. i.e. I have a link to a pdf on my site and I click it in IE, the pdf opens. I click in Google Chrome and it downloads. I can go into the browser settings to tell google chrome to open pdfs automatically if I want, but it has nothing to do with DNN. The same goes for other apps, .doc, .txt, email, etc. In most browsers you can specify which program should launch to open the appropriate file. Again, nothing at all to do with DNN, just the browser you're using and what you've set in the browser itself.
