            'objUserInfoNew.Membership.FirstName = Name
            'objUserInfoNew.Membership.LastName = FamilyName
            objUserInfoNew.AffiliateID = Int32.MinValue
            objUserInfoNew.Profile.InitialiseProfile(PortalSettings.PortalId)
            objUserInfoNew.Profile.PreferredLocale = "en-US"
            objUserInfoNew.Profile.SetProfileProperty("PreferredLocale", "en-US")

            objUserInfoNew.Profile.SetProfileProperty("Testet", "testets resultat")

            objUserInfoNew.Membership.Password = DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GeneratePassword
            objUserInfoNew.PortalID = PortalId
            Dim UserCreateStatus = New DotNetNuke.Security.Membership.UserCreateStatus()

            UserCreateStatus = DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.CreateUser(objUserInfoNew)

Found the answer myself: Add these lines

            objUserInfoNew.Profile.SetProfileProperty("FirstName", Name)
            objUserInfoNew.Profile.SetProfileProperty("LastName", FamilyName)

and the firstname and lastname will work again
