I have installed DotNetNuke 4.0.3 on vwdhosting.net using ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL Server Express 2005. Renamed the release.config to web.config. Uploaded all files. Changed the connection string. Installed DNN. It installed properly.

1. When I clicked on the link to redirect to myportal. It showed me the portal but all modules display "Error <module name> is currently unavailable..."

2. I reinstalled everything from scratch. This time whenever I try and open up my website it goes to the installation root and says the installation failed. cannot connect to the database.

3. I tried installing on local machine using Visual Studio 2005 Professional. The portal doesnt load saying the application domain is unavailable.

Kindly help....... in urgent need.

Sandeep
