Hi There,

I am creating custom modules for Dotnetnuke and every time if i update existing module i need to tell to client yes there is a new version of a particular module please install it.

Isnt it there any way so that when i create a new version of existing module it will automatically appear on the client interface regarding the new version and giving the option of upgrade it. Like we already have notification for DNN community edition. If there is new new release in the market of DNN it will display on my website that its time to upgrade. could you please help me how i can do that.

Thanks

Why not do it in your own module?  Have an admin-only notice appear.  Design your app to call home when it's run and read a XML version file, then compare it to its internal version.

Personally, I get emails when things are updated...
