I am installing the source version. All went well except that when I start the website and it begins the installation of the database, it is getting an exception trying to open a file DotNetNuke_template.mdf in the Providers\DataProviders\SQLDataProvider folder. The file is not there and it is not in the downloaded zip file. Where can I find this file?

As far as I've seen, errors relating to this file are typically the result of a misconfigured conn string. Double check your conn string to ensure it is correct. Test your settings by explicitly logging into SQL Server with the specified credentials. This should validate your conn string.
