AFAIK, you may view the code and adopt to your needs (unsupported) but won't be allowed to distribute it

you hand over ownership on the code to DotNetNuke Corp and get back unlimited permission to use use it (but not ownership).

Forgot one question (sorry there are several people besides me in the process): If we buy a PRO edition I understand that the support subscription is mandatory. What happens if we later do not want to have and pay for support. Will we then be forced to downgrade to the Community edition and uninstall the extra features included in the PRO edition? Will the PRO license automatically expire if we don’t renew our support subscription? Thanks

Commercial licenses are granted for a limited time only, after they expired, a warning will appear in Pro extensions, if you continue to use them (i.e. you need downgrade to Community Edition).

I am a bit confused about what happens when a DNN professional subscription expires. Does a warning only appear on pages where Pro extensions are in use? Or does a warning appear on all pages of the site?

What happens in an instance where a DNN Professional subscription no longer makes sense (pro exensions are no longer in use), is the process of moving to the Community edtion an easy one?

Is moving the Community Edition something that can be done relatively easily? Or is a matter of simply switching off/uninstalling Pro extensions?
