Hi,

I hope I didn't overlook an answer to this question in the forums (a few minutes search at least brought no results).

I wonder why the StarterKit for DNN4 is not signed. In case my question is not clear:
When installing the starterkit, you will be presented with the following message:
"The content file you are trying to install has not been signed and might contain harmful code. Are you sure you want to install this content?"

Is it for legal, organizational or technical reasons? Or is it just not considered as important enough to deal with?

I am not trying to say that I think it should be signed. I just would like to understand why it was decided not to sign the starterkit.

Thank you.

This is not official, but my guess is that it just wasn't considered a priority at the time. If you'd like it to be signed, I'd suggest creating an issue for it. This will get the CT to look into it.
