Guys i need help I've just installed SQL server express on my PC with Vista OS on and when i finished the SQL server download that i download wasn't in the bin folder how do i get it to be in the folder and where might i be able to get the proper download. I've been to Microsoft and the download doesn't work there so what must i do to fix this problem.

Please give me a link or solution to the problem so that i can fix this error, also i need to now where i can download Powershell. I have Powershell 1.0 on my pc but it keeps giving me the error of that the update does not affect my system what must i do to get this fixed.

you may use web platform installer (www.microsoft.com/web) to install sql server express and management studio. be aware, that the installed product will not create a link in satart menu but be accessible via computer administration.

Ive taken to downloading The Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 it has the same stuff but when i run it it gives me an error //forums.iis.net/1155.aspx and tell me i must go to the forum of The Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 this but i wana now if u cant help me

we noticed that installation of SQL Server Management Studio 2008 can be interfered by prior installation of Visual Studio 2008, I am not sure, if this has been solved for SSMS 2008 R2 and VS 2010.
