I am using an asp wizard control to collect information from unregistered users. The final step in the wizard uses the dnn captcha control. I can't get the error message to display. I have defined the error message in the .ascx file and tried setting it in the code behind. However the error message never displays. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are setting the captcha ErrorMessage in the code behind file, it will have to be set much earlier than in your OnFinishButtonClick handler and will have to be set on each page load. My use of the captcha control in the DNN Feedback module works fine with the ErrorMessage and Text properties being set to localized values in the Page_Load handler outside of an if Page.IsPostback block.
