I use links in my blog posts often, and I am always having problems with the way the blog module is displaying them in the RSS feed.  Check out the last posting here to see an example.

Looks fine on the blog page: Click Me

But in the RSS Feed, all heck breaks lose on the links.  I have tried to fix it by editing the entry, but every time I do it appends more to it.

See the problem XML links: Click Me

Any ideas?

This is now the second time I see and hear from a problem like this.

Currently the biggest problem is that I'm not able to reproduce that problem in one of my sites (and test sites)

Do you have any additional url rewriting modules or anything else installed?

Are there more peoples who have that problem?

regards

HP

What's strange is that the actual blog entry seems intact.  It's only in the XML feed that my domain name keeps getting added multiple times to the links.

I tried to re-add the blog post, so the URL's have moved:

Blog Post
XML Feed

Oddly, it doesn't occur on the Image path, only on the link paths.  It does seem like there is some logic as well, like maybe when there is multiple links in a post the error occurs.  Some entries seem to come out ok.  I also notice that often when I add links, there is an extra ">" added before the link text that I have to edit the post and remove.

Oh, and no. I have no additional rewriting.  I do use Search Friendly URL's however.

Were you able to see the issue as it existed in our RSS file?
