hi
I am using a portal of dotnetnuke but i have a problem with send and receive email by that
I don't know how fill SMTP Server settings
1. What is SMTP Server and where can i find it and it's Post?
2. What is the 'SMTP Authentication' ?
3. SMTP Enable SSL : What is this and where i can use this?

Hi,

If you are using a web hosting company to host your DotNetNuke installation then you would probably need to get this information from them.

Hello Eshan. Your SMTP server is the server you current use for your email (mail.yourdomain.com, for instance). SMTP Authentication is what your mail server requires for authentication to send and receive email:
  • Anonymous - doesn't require a username/email address or password
  • Basic - requires a username/email address and password
  • NTLM (NT LAN Manager) - is a MS authentication protocol, you'll likely need to contact you sys admin for the correct information.
SSL is just that, running your mail securely, much/exactly like https:.
