HI guys,

I have a site for a client which I built some years ago back in DNN3.

The client contacted me recently to say the site has been acting up, and could I please take a look.

The site appears to generally work, except the host has complained off "too many open DB connections" and when I click on the settings button for a module, or a page - the site times out.

I've managed to upgrade the site to 4.9.05 successfully, but the same errors still happen.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've been trying to find someone with coding experience to take a look for me, but theyre hard to find!

Any suggestions appreciated.

Are there custom modules on this site? They likely aren't properly closing their datareader connections when making calls to the database.
