Hi All,

Just started using dotnetnuke and things are going pretty well so far!  The next big job is that we have some Flex apps which we need to integrate with DNN.  I've read on other threads that it would be better to just rewrite the app as a dnn module from scratch, but that would spoil the user experience and also take a couple of months to do!

We have the flex app loading on the page and it works fine however it needs to communicate to other modules.  I've looked at inter module communication but I believe that it will always require a page refresh (obviously don't want to do this with the Flex).  So we're wondering how else to get the modules to communicate.  At the moment the favoured idea is to add a WCF layer to the modules that the flex needs to communicate with.  Obviously though this has implications with us having to modify the web.config at install and it makes it all a little tricky with the install and uninstall process.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has tried to do this and if so what type of architecture you used in order to accomplish this.  Any links, docs, articles would be appreciated!
