Is there any way to have the module allow either upload a file or enter a URL link?  I remember it did when this project was not managed by DNN.

I can not turn this on anymore.

This is absolutely the best module added to DNN!

Thanks
Rick

Rick,
Thanks for the comment

Sometimes it's one step back and two steps forward

The ability to mix and match files and URLs in a single Repository was removed from the DNN version ( it was available in the Gooddogs version but honestly the code to support that feature was a little shaky )

The next version of the Repository will include the newly redesigned URL control, so that you can upload a file, URL to a external resource, or even a URL to a tab on your DNN site. I don't have a release date yet for the next version. It was supposed to be around the end of this month (May), but my time lately has been taken up with some internal core team work and some external consulting. I hope to get the real-world distractions out of the way fairly soon so I can devote some time to the next Repository release.

Thanks Steve,

I have also found out if I upload a small text file and then go in and delete the file though FTP and go into SQL and go to the table I can manually change the link.  But I was wanting to make it easier for my users.

It is a great module and I look forward to trying out new things on it.

Thanks
