Hi,

I am developing a skin where in which i would like to bring in the login area(similar to account login module) in to it, so that in all the pages where this skin is applied a login area would appear.

How can i achieve this?.Is there any skin object for this. Please do suggest the alternatives possible through DNN.

Thanks & Regards,
Balu

Balu,

What you're looking for is the SignIn skin object:

Token: [SIGNIN]

DNN5 Skin Object: <object id="dnnSIGNIN" codetype="dotnetnuke/server" codebase="SIGNIN"></object>

.ascx Control: < dnn:Signin runat="server" id="dnnSignin">

Regards,

Rick.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for the quick response.

I'm working on DNN community 5.4.2, is this [SIGNIN] with it by default?.Or do i need to down load and install the skin object seperately?.

I checked in admin >> Skins but couldn't find the user control.Where i could find all the other skin object user controls except SIGNIN.Please guide me!

Regards,
Balu.

Hi Ricky,

      Yes, i found it !!!!

I just created a sample html with [SIGNIN] and parsed, and the found the UC , it is in ~/DesktopModules/Admin/Authentication/Login.ascx(Just for registering the user control). As you have suggested i could use the skin object as <dnn:SIGNIN runat="server" ID="dnnSIGNIN" />.

Any way thanks!. Hope this would be helpful for others too.:)

Regards,
Balu.
