Is there a way in DNN 5+ to "Geotarget" or it may be known as "Geolocating" the website? What I mean is, you have one website, but with the implementation of some code or programming, it shows the city of the surfer's IP location, but both surfers see the same site with only the location changed.
 For example;
 A surfer in Miami, Florida Google's "Skydiving in Florida" he/she sees the same site with "Skydiving in Miami, Florida" in the content and meta tags. The site shows up with any reference to the state of Florida or especially the cities show up in the text of the site, The same would go for California or anywhere else in the world, the surfer would see the site with all the same content with ONLY the geographic location changed.
I know that dating and travel sites use this quite actively and I have multiple DNN sites that I really want to apply this technique to.

 Thanks, Jeff...

DNN country lookup tools uses a free GeoIP table from maxmind.com, you may use the same technique in your module, even with the more precise paid versions of the geoip table

There was a redirect module on Snowcovered that would let you redirect according to the detected country/ip. You could redirect to another page or site based on country.ip location. Can't remember what it was called, just search for redirect on Snowcovered.

Yes, you'd have to do it at module level - check the IP and location of the user and redirect them.
I do similar type of things with the MaxMind IP tools on my poker player search page. You'll notice if you have not filled in your location data on PokerDIY it will take a guess from your IP and populate the core profile info - you could quite easily do a redirect here to a subset of pages/sub-portal targeted to that region.

It would be cool to make the HTML module Geo aware so you could say "Hey rod, check out the poker games in Sydney" or something - I do this with a custom module but it would be nice to have it built in for flexibility...

That's similar to what I am referring to. One site I can think of off hand that uses this is Adultfriendfinder.com. Check the locations in that site, and look at the pics and the locations under the pictures, they will be your location, then, if you have the ability to change your IP, maybe if you use an IP cloak, check the IP then to be sure it's from somewhere else in the world, the go back to adultfriendfinder and check the locations again, they will match the location of the new IP. That's one of the marketing tools they, as well as other markets use. It's the same site, with quite often the same pictures of the same people, but the location will change.
 That's what I am trying to do.
