Hello,

 I created some custom aspx page that inherits from DotNetNuke.Framework.CDefault. On the page I am using AJAX with UpdatePanel. This page is running fine under DNN 4.9 but since I upgraded to DNN 5.4.04, the page is no longer working with the following error:

"The control with ID 'UpdatePanel1' requires a ScriptManager on the page. The ScriptManager must appear before any controls that need it."

so if I tried to add in 
<asp:ScriptManager> I got a different error this time it complained that I already had ScriptManager:

"Only one instance of a ScriptManager can be added to the page."

 Could anyone help how to correct this error? 

  I also tried on Page_Load event

  DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterScriptManager() but it still give me an error   "The ScriptManager must appear before any controls that need it."

 Thanks so much - I just realized that I need to override the OnInit to make it to work
